Right now, I’m working on a series of stories about my time in prison, the unjust conviction, and my attempts to reenter society afterward. As you can imagine, 25 years in custody, with all the deaths, my own near death experiences, dealing with psychopaths, sexual predators, and just plain violent assholes, makes me look at things in a different light.
The core of a person never changes, and when you are in an extremely stressful situation, that’s when who you really are comes out. Morally. Ethically. Any training you’ve had, military, athletic, intellectual, or otherwise–you’re going to use every bit of it to survive. Luck, fate, your determination, inner strength, and training are all you’ve got. You might have family or friends somewhere, but in hell, you are on your own.
As each story in the series becomes available, it will be right here. The first is “YOU ARE NOW ENTERING HELL”, which starts at day one of my long journey through the criminal justice system.
I suppose I have two concurrent goals: Letting people know what really happens when you unfortunately find yourself entangled in the criminal justice system, the sickening truth, and also setting the record straight on all the bullshit that’s out there regarding me personally. I don’t hold anything back on what I really did or didn’t do, I’ll tell you the absolute truth, there’s no point otherwise. The true story is completely different than what you might see in some so called “news articles”, the inept fucks that write those usually just copy down whatever the cops or State’s Attorney tells them, and I hope if you’ve gotten this far into my website, you know how often cops and prosecutors lie, not giving a fuck about real justice, or the truth, just what suits them.
